This section describes specifications for Amber Alert Messages for state broadcasts.
The table that follows describes requirements for free-form Amber Alert Messages (AA). The free-form Amber Alert utilizes one field, followed by a period and a free form body. Please refer to the NIEM section below for detailed standardized specifications.

Multiple Destination Message Specifications
- To send a message to more than one state, enter multiple state codes.
- A message may be sent to a maximum of five locations.
- Each terminal designated as a destination in the input message receives a message with a single ORI.
